LOW ON ENERGY?

LOW ON ENERGY?

Does your energy need a boost?

Most days I feel like I’ve got energy to burn … other days I feel my age a little. Unfortunately, one of the most common complaints I hear from people in the clinic is that they have no energy! Many factors can contribute to low energy - lack of sleep, EMF’s, poor nutrition and compromised absorption to name a few - so I thought I’d spotlight a couple of products that you can try to help you up the ante in energy production.

  1. Black Minerals
This is a trace mineral supplement. Due to over farming and poor soil quality, our food just doesn’t have the nutritional value it used to. Our body needs around 95 different trace minerals EVERYDAY, however the average Joe gets around 30. Not ideal.

Your body uses trace minerals for many different purposes, the main one being nutrient absorption. If you aren’t absorbing enough nutrients, you will often find an early symptom being tiredness and lack of energy.  Give it a go and see how you feel! It’s something I personally use every day and I wouldn’t go without!

  2. MCT Oil

MCT Oil easily enter your cells without having to be broken down. It is then used as an immediate source of energy. MCT’s are burned by your body as energy or ‘fuel’ instead of being stored as fat. Such a supplement can be added to smoothies, hot beverages, salad dressings and recipes! Start out with half a teaspoon and work your way up to 1 tablespoon per day.

  3. Fusion Energy Supplement

Fusion energy supplement. This herbal tonic is great for a quick energy boost or used daily for endurance. Before use, always ask your naturopath or nutritionally educated health care professional for advice if you are taking any other medications at the time.

As I said earlier, low energy can be caused by many different things! If you are experiencing stubbornly low energy levels with no obvious cause, I urge you to book an appointment with one of our naturopaths today!

Lot’s of love and energetic vibes,
